Anime Hideout — Terms of Service By using this platform you agree to the following: 1. Data we collect • Your email address, to register your account and verify you are not a bot. • Your Discord username and ID, to fetch your profile, ranks, stats, and punishment history shown on the site. • Your Discord status, to display it on your website profile. • Your server nickname, avatar, and roles, to keep your site profile up to date. • Messages you send through this site (DMs and group chats), including read timestamps. • Punishments and appeals associated with your account. • AI Rule Assistant questions you submit (used to improve moderator coverage of unanswered questions). 2. What we can and cannot access • We cannot access your Discord account, password, or act on your behalf in any way. • When logging in, Discord shows you exactly what permissions we are requesting. • You may search "Discord OAuth" to verify what developers can and cannot see. 3. How Discord data is used • Strictly for authentication, role-based access, and displaying your profile on the site. • Roles are synced from the Anime Hideout Discord server on each login. 4. Punishment appeals • You may submit one active appeal per punishment. • Moderators who issued a punishment cannot review the appeal for it. • Decisions (Approve / Deny) are final unless escalated through the regular staff chain. 5. Messaging data • Messages are retained for moderation and audit purposes. • Deleted messages remain as a placeholder visible to moderators only. 6. Account termination • Accounts may be terminated by an Admin or Owner for severe rule violations. • Termination removes site access only; it does not affect your Discord account directly. 7. Questions & concerns • If you have privacy questions, please DM a developer directly before making it public. • We are happy to clarify anything transparently. 8. Waguri (AI persona & automated moderation) • Waguri is an AI chatbot and an automated moderation system. She is NOT a real person; everything she says is automatically generated by software. • Her chat personality is intentionally casual, blunt, sarcastic, and edgy, and may include crude or vulgar language and dark humor. Her messages are banter and entertainment only. They are NOT advice, facts, or the opinions of Anime Hideout, its owner, or its staff. • By pinging, replying to, or otherwise messaging Waguri, you consent to receiving this kind of content. If you would prefer not to interact with an AI like this, simply do not message her. • Waguri can be wrong, can misfire, and can produce output you may find offensive or inappropriate. You agree not to rely on anything she says, and you release Anime Hideout, its owner, and its staff from any liability arising from her automated output. • For safety, Waguri automatically scans messages and uploaded media (including with AI image analysis) for NSFW content, gore, slurs, scams, and raids. She may automatically delete content, mute or time out users, or escalate to human moderators. Your messages and any media you upload may be processed and temporarily stored as moderation evidence. • Do not attempt to jailbreak, manipulate, or trick Waguri into producing harmful, illegal, or sexual content, and do not direct sexual or predatory messages at anyone. Such behavior is detected, logged, may be reported to staff, and may result in punishment. • You confirm you meet Discord's minimum age requirement to use the platform. 9. Changes • These Terms may be updated at any time. • You will be required to re-accept on next login when the version changes. If you are under 18, by accepting you confirm a parent or legal guardian has reviewed these terms and consents on your behalf.
